Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Fresno. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in California are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 6:30 amβ7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Fresno is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fresno follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The food is really good. I have only had one thing that I wasnt a fan of. Although it is expensive, lots of work goes into each item. The person who helps you pick your food & pay, they are always helpful & kind. It's always busy & loud so I don't enjoy staying inside much. The matcha & coffee, so good!

Not one cheap ingredient⦠Not one familiar taste! Not one premade sauce! Everything made daily to perfection. Today I tried the Cheesy Chicken Alfredo The garlic spread on the side is possibly the best I tried anywhere in the world! The Alfredo sauce is made to perfection! Everything is next level at this place! Just love coming back!

We really, REALLY enjoy coming here for brunch on the weekends. Their main dishes are fantastic. I usually opt for the risotto and my better half got the chicken skewers this time around which he enjoyed. If you want to keep things light, a baked good along with their soup of the day will more than suffice. Since we've been going here I've had their carrot, vegetable, and zucchini soups... all of them great with generous portions. βIf you're just in the mood for coffee and a pastry, their lattes and chais are consistently good and their opera cake is otherworldly along with their other desserts. βWe moved here from LA six months ago and initially struggled with the quality and variety of restaurants here, but Yava has been a godsend. If you're looking for a hip brunch spot with a culturally diverse menu, simple stuff such as French toast or pancakes, or a just a delightful patisserie, this place has all of your bases covered.

YAVA Bakery is such a gem! Itβs a beautiful French and Mediterranean spotβperfect for breakfast, lunch, or grabbing a cake, pastry, or fresh bread. The space is extremely clean, the food is incredibly fresh, and the customer service is outstanding. The overall vibe is very positive and welcoming. I ordered the spinach berry salad and added beef for protein, and it was absolutely excellent. They also offer specialty coffees and teas, which makes it an even better experience. Iβll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

I recently stopped by this bakery after hearing so many great things, and I have to say the presentation of their desserts is absolutely stunning. Every treat looks like a piece of art, and itβs clear thereβs a lot of craftsmanship and attention to detail put into their work. The atmosphere inside is very high-end, beautifully designed, and definitely gives the feel of an upscale artisan bakery. As for pricing, it does match that elevated experience, so expect artisan bakery prices. Personally, the flavors were a bit more subtle and less sweet than what I usually enjoy, so it wasnβt quite the right fit for my taste. That said, I can appreciate the quality and creativity, and I think anyone who enjoys refined, less-sweet desserts would absolutely love it. Overall, itβs a gorgeous spot with impressive desserts, just not exactly my style flavor-wise.
